Normal neutrophil count is above 1,500 cells per microliter, therefore ANC less than 500cells/µl is termed neutropenia and an abnormal high value is termed neutrophila. There are 2 disorders involved here;

Just as stated earlier that normal neutriphil count ranges above 1,500 cell per microlitter, so ANC will be certainly less than precdicted 500cells/µl.
